Metal Urges creates unique custom pendants, bracelets, rings and earrings for you using your jewelry design ideas. Custom made jewelry can be created using yellow, white, or rose gold in 10, 14 or 18 karat or in sterling silver. Any gemstones you wish, including your own, can be used in your unique jewelry design. Think of all the possibilities!

With proper care and maintenance, your fine jewelry will reward you with a lifetime of enjoyment and luxury. Metal Urges offers a full range of professional jewelry repair, redesign and refurbishment services that make it easy for you to recapture the pleasure your jewelry was meant to bring.

Our full suite of jewelry repair services includes ring sizing, mountings, stone replacement, retipping prongs, jewelry cleaning & polishing, necklace repair, bracelet repair, clasp replacement, refurbishment, redesign & custom jewelry designs.
What Follows is a list of pricing for *basic* repairs.  Any repair not listed can be discussed and estimated, so feel free to ask if I can do what you're looking for! Prices listed are not firm - repairs will be estimated upon inspection, including any issues or problems with the piece before work begins.  Pricing may be dependent on quality of metal.  A before and after picture will be taken for reference.

**I specialize in your basic yearly care: Checking of all settings including each and every prong and checking each and every stone and all of the structural components in your ring, complete cleaning, 3-step polishing and final buff.  It will look brand new. **

Rings:   Prices listed are for basic sizing services at 14k gold prices, and will depend on metal quality (Sterling vs 14k, etc.) Other services are available include prong retipping or replacement, head replacement, or 1/2 and full shank replacement, shank straightening, crack or break repair, redoing worn finishes and many more depending on your needs.

Ladies and Gents, size down: $60, up to 2 sizes depending on design.

Ladies, size up ONE size: $80.  Each additional size: $25 depending on the design.

Gents, size up ONE size: $95.  Each additional size: $30 depending on design.

Sizing Balls: $100 - $120.

Chains/Necklaces/Bracelets:

Untangle/Un-kink chain:  $20/15min (usually not more than 15 min) - cost of this would be included in any repair needed.

Solder break, Solid chain: $40.  Hollow, rope, omega or herringbone: $45 (*stiff spot is inevitable.)

Solder jump ring or charm (provided by client): $15, $10/each additional.  Make and solder jump ring: $25, $10/each additional (14k price).

Reinforce weak link, jump ring, bail, end tab or clasp:  $25-60.

Pearl Stringing: No knot: $4/inch, Knotted: $6/inch

Earrings:

Solder Post (provided by client, no stone):  Solid earring, $25.  Hollow earring, $40.

Provide and Solder Post: $40 to $100, depending on the metal quality and if earring is solid or hollow.

All styles of earring backs available, including threaded and locking.  Request a quote!  Earrings can often be converted from post to dangle and vice-versa.  Send a pic and let me know what your desire is.
